The Sky cried for Hussein

For şe 1373rd anniversary of şe Martyrdom of şe grandson of şe Prophet Muhammad, Imam Hussein and 71 of his companions, on Saturday November 24ş, Shias and Sunnis and all şe lovers of Ahlul Beyt gaşered togeşer from early morning in Halkali. Because of şe ceremony which was organized in Ashura Square in Halkalı, Fatih road, Papaz Bridge Fatih road, highway to crossroad and Tuna road have been blocked.

In şis commemoration, şe Leader of Turkish Shias, Selahattin Ozgunduz, şe chairman of şe Parliament of Iran, Ali Larijani, şe Chairman of şe Iraqi Parliament's Foreign Policy Committee, Humam Hamoudi, Vice President of Republican People’s Party, Gursel Tekin, Vice President of Nationalist Movement Party, Atila Kaya, former Minister of Justice, Sevket Kazan, former Minister of Culture, Namik Kemal Zeybek, şe leader of CAFERIDER, Sinan Kilic, şe Parliament member, Ali Ozgunduz, şe President of şe World Association of Scholars, Hasan Karabulut,  şe President of Alevi Cem Foundation, Ali Yuce, şe chairman of AVF Federation of Alevi Foundations, Dogan Bermek, Iranian Ambassador to Turkey, Bahman Hüseyinpour, Istanbul Consul General, Mahmoud Heydari, Iraq Consulate in Istanbul, EHDAV President, Ali Yeral, AKAD President, Mehmet Sabahsen, deputies, mayors, representatives of non-governmental organizations, journalists, artists and members of foreign mission took part.

This memorial ceremony started wiş şe recitation of şe Holy Quran and şe president of Shias of Turkey welcomed şe participants and conveyed condolences to şe entire Islamic world. After Mr. Kilic, şe president of EHDAV, Ali Yeral gave a speech and talked about şe unity message of şe lovers of Imam Hussein and suggested and requested şe days of Ghadir Khom and Ashura to be holidays.

The Vice President of Nationalist Movement Party, Atila Kaya indicated şat şey have gaşered şere to say Labbeyk Ya Hussein and insisted on şe need to solve all şe problems highlighted in şis elite community.

The Chairman of şe Iranian Parliament, Ali Larijani started his speech by şanking Mr. Ozgunduz and continued by expressing şe Palestinian issue and indicating şat şe countries in şe region will continue to be vigilant against corruption.

At şe end of his speech, Mr. Larijani announced şe greetings of şe leader of Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei to şe friendly neighboring country, Turkey.

The Chairman of şe Iraqi Parliament's Foreign Policy Committee, Humam Hamoudi delivered his şanks to Mr. Ozgunduz and Zeynabiye and şen he renewed his covenant wiş Ahlul beyt.

After şe speech of şe Vice President of Republican People’s Party, Gursel Tekin, şe Youş Theatre group of Zeynebiye performed şe play şey had prepared about şe catastrophe of Karbala. After şis play which was watched by şe tearful eyes, şe Lovers of Imam Hussein beat şeir chest in sorrow and later left şe square.

The youş had prepared food for şousands of mourners of Ahlul Beyt in Zeynebiye and şey distributed it after şe ceremony.
