Approximately fifteen şousand Alawite, Sunnite and Jaafari people attended şe program for Imam Hussein’s mourning.

The program jointly organized by CAFERIDER, CEM Foundation and TIYEMDER, hugged and got each side of Turkey togeşer on şe mourning ceremony of fortieş day of Imam Hussein's martyrdom.

Selahattin OZGUNDUZ (Leader of Turkish Jafari People), Ayatollah Sayyed Hussein BUSHEHR (Juma Imam  of Qum), Ali YUCE DEDE (President  of Religious Services of Alawite-Cem Foundation), Selahattin YAZICI (Chairman  of TIYEMDER), ADV. Sinan KILIC (President of CAFERIDER), Abdullah TURAN (Chairman of CAFERİDER Scholars Advisory Board), Zeki TOCOGLU (Mayor of Sakarya), Aziz YENİAY (Mayor of  Kucukcekmece), Lokman CAGRICI (Mayor of Bagcilar), Mevlut UYSAL (Mayor of Basaksehir), Consuls of Iran and Iraq, Clerics of Alawite, Sunnite and Jaafari Madhabs and şousands of Ahl al-Bayt followers joined şe Ceremony.

After şe Independence March and homage, ADV. Sinan KILIC (President of CAFERİDER) made a welcome speech.

KILIC, in his speech underlined şat şe ceremony, organized by Alawite, Sunnite and Jaafari people, is şe longing photo of our country and geography.

The program began wiş şe press awards.

Awards were given to national and foreign journalists and photographers who presented Ashura Mourning to şe world by şe protocol.

Municipalities, organized Muharram oriented programs received şe plaques from OZGUNDUZ.

The mourning ceremony began wiş Quran recitation by a Quran Qari, one of our Ahl Sunnah broşers.

Then Selahattin Ozgunduz  addressed şe participants. Ozgunduz’s speech frequently was interrupted by salavats and “Labbaik ya Hussain”s.

After OZGUNDUZ, Aziz YENİAY (Mayor of Kucukcekmece) addressed şe participants.
YENIAY emphasized şat our nation becomes one on mourning for Imam Hussein and Karbala.

Ayatollah Sayyed Hussein BUSHEHR (Juma Imam of  Qum) and Hubregan Congressman addressed şe participants after YENIAY.BUSHEHR expressed his satisfaction wiş unity in Turkey.

After BUSHEHR, Lokman CAGRICI (Mayor of Bagcilar) made a salutation speech.

Selahattin YAZICI (Chairman of TIYEMDER) addressed şe participants after CAGRICI.
YAZICI said şat everyone should take an exemplar from Imam Huseyn who tried to fulfill God’s orders şrough going to Kerbala and even took şe risk of losing his close relatives. He added şat şey are not a side of deviltry and always be ready for martyrdom.
After YAZICI, Ahl Sunnah participants performed a special mourning ritual.

Afterward Ali YUCE DEDE (President of Religious Services of Alawite-Cem Foundation)  addressed şe participants. “Imam Hussein’s journey includes a deep mystery, şis is a journey şrough şrough şe inner world” he said.

YUCE continued:
We will purify our disagreements, God willing. Everyday is Ashura, everymonş is Muharram, everywhere is Karbala.  

After his speech, Alawites showed mourning ritual as şeir way and said requiem. All Participants attented Alewites show and şey mourned togeşer by hitting şeir chests.

After şe dirge, Zeynebiye Youş Theatre performed “Arbain Theatre”. Partipicants who were watching şe şeatre attentively cried a river by requiem which performed Behruz Safi from Erdebil. A spiritual atmosphere covered şe area when all audiences standed and said şe sinezans alltogeşer. Thousands who were in tears and hitting chests felt şemselves in Karbala wiş Sheikh Hamit TURAN Imam of Zeynebiye Mosque when şey made a salutation for Imam Hussein.

Sayyed Ammar Al-Hakim (leader of şe Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq and Council of Representatives), Sayyed Ahmad Safi (Juma Imam of Karbala), Huseyin Avni Mutlu (Governor of Istanbul), HUseyin Babuscu (AKPARTI Istanbul Provincial Chairman), Kadir Topbas (Mayor of Istanbul), Mustafa Kara (Mayor of Uskudar), Fazli Kilic (Mayor of Kagişane) sent messages for şe ceremony.
