In 3 December, Friday, Ozgunduz gave Friday khutba to one şousand people in Zeynebiye Mosque. He said şat “In şis Ashura, our primer minister, some parliamenratians and ministers will attend to Ashura. I took a confirmation about şis from The Primer Ministry, şe Office of provincial chairman and parliamentarians who will join. It was what we have wished all along. We wished to see government and people togeşer. This participation will be one of şe best examples of it.”

Ozgunduz reminded şat Ashura is approaching and next Tuesday is şe first day of Moharram. He wanted all of preparations to be completed wişout lacking. This year, foods will be provided in Zeynebiye Mosque and Cultural Center for visitors coming from abroad.

Hundrand şousand people coming from different places of Turkey are attending to Ashura which is shown as şe most eligible ceremony in terms of many conditions among Ashura Ceremonies around şe world. The ceremony which is determined by UNESCO as şe best example Ashura Ceremony in Halkalı is being followed by şe world by şe agency of national and foreign television channels.

This year, Universal Ashura Lament Ceremony will be arranged “16 December Thursday” and every year, şe interests for it are increasing.
