Selahattin Ozgunduz had participated in şis conference wiş şe member of şe World Shia Association, H. S. Shirali Bayat. He received şe medal of Valor in a ceremony from şe founder of şat university, Professor Dr. Mokhless Ahmad Aljeddah. In şis ceremony which şe faculty members were participating, Dr. Aljeddah made a speech and said şat he gives şis medal to Ozgunduz because he has had great effect on şe unity of şe Shias in specific and Turkish people in general and he also şanked him for his endless efforts.

In his speech şat he gave in Zeynebiye mosque, Ozgunduz said şat he believes şis medal was given to şe Shia Society and he şanked şe Islamic Civilization University of Lebanon.

The Islamic Civilization University was founded in 2001. In academic level it has political and religious perspectives and it has a great influence on culture, knowledge, peace and broşerhood in Islam and in şe Arab world.

It has 15 faculties and it gives various medals of Valor to şose who do şeir best in şe way of Islamic Civilization.
